Deletion of your personal information
You may request the deletion of your personal information at any time, and in doing so, you acknowledge that your ability to use Begyn's Services and Website, and any related benefits will cease. Please email us at hello@begyn.co to request deletion of your data. We will respond within five business days to validate your request, and upon validating your request, we will remove your data within 24hrs, from all Begyn Systems and Services.
We are required to retain our Working With Children audit records for a period of seven years under the Child Protection Legislation in each state and territory of Australia. This Data is limited to the following:
- surname;
- date of birth;
- Working With Children (WWC) number;
- date of expiry of WWC number; and
- WWC status.
Complaints about privacy
If you have any complaints about our privacy practices, please feel free to send in details of your complaints to Begyn. We take complaints very seriously and will respond shortly after receiving written notice of your complaint.
